FAQs

How are paintings priced?

Pricing takes into account all supplies used, time spent, packaging costs and shipping. Please reach out with any specific questions on pricing.

What materials are used?

Each painting is different, but all feature acrylic paint. Other materials used include sand resin, black lava (similar to sand resin), gloss gel, medium gloss varnish, silicone oil, oil pastel, oil paint, gouache, watercolor/acrylic ink, spray paint, gilding paint, foiling markers and metallic foil (gold, silver, etc).

Can I commission a piece?

Yes, all inquiries should be sent to chelsea@chickcentral.com. From there we can discuss materials, colors, size, pricing and any other specifications. Availability may vary based on waitlist.

How are paintings shipped?

With one of a kind pieces, it is of the utmost importance that packaging is done with care so that your painting arrives safe and sound to its new home. To ensure this happens a protective paper is placed on top of the piece and then taped down to prevent rubbing. Two separate layers of cardboard are placed on top and bottom of the canvas. This is enclosed with plastic wrap, and then reinforced with a final layer of bubble wrap.

Where do you ship to and which shipping service is used?

We ship within the United States. For international shipping, contact chelsea@chickcentral.com. All orders are sent out via UPS ground and will be fully insured, unless otherwise specified.

Not sure how the painting will look in your home?

Send a photo of your space and the wall you’d like the painting on and we can provide a sample of what it might look like.
